Independent advice
As a professional service partner of the United Nations Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), Outcrop works with institutional investors and their service providers to incorporate Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) risks into their decision-making policies, practices and processes. Outcrop’s principal, Nicholas Taylor, has led and implemented responsible investment programs for superannuation funds, investment managers and asset consultants.
Bespoke research
Having been awarded the inaugural Australian Sustainability Award for ESG Research in 2007, Nicholas Taylor is regularly commissioned to lead major research projects. Nicholas has published a number of academic journal articles, book chapters, working papers and feature articles and is a frequent commentator both in Australia and overseas.
Educational workshops
Since 2006, Nicholas Taylor has run workshops and training programs for clients marshalling some $100 billion in funds under management. Nicholas also teaches Australia’s only specialist postgraduate course on ESG Risk and Corporate Value at La Trobe University, and has given lectures at industry conferences and public forums on topics ranging from international relations and human rights, to conflict and business ethics.
